David Murphy - Munster Senior Final Winner

The Munster Senior Final @ Ballincurrig, billed to be the score of the year between two of the best in the business. Martin Coppinger from Bantry playing David Murphy from Brinny. Playing for a total stake of €82,800. Both playing well to the 1st no-play line but things went downhill for Coppinger from there on. Murphy has an awsome record on this road and this continued today when he won out easy at the end by 2 bowls of odds. Winning his 6th Munster title, he certainly reigns supreme tonight, hard luck to Martin today, small margins and the result could have went his way. All to be done again for David when he takes on Thomas Mackle for the 3rd time in an All-Ireland final on July 9th.
