Bowling Report - Week ending 24th August
It was a busy weekend as five county finals were decided, with Padraigh Scanlon, Cathal O’Sullivan, Billy Healy, Cathal Creedon and Michael A. Cronin among the big winners.
James O’Donovan booked his King of the Roads semi-final place after a strong Mick Barry Cup victory over Gary Daly and Aidan Murphy at Ballincurrig.
Meanwhile, Paul Buckley edged Brian Wilmot in a thrilling finish to claim the long-delayed Connie K. O’Sullivan Cup at the Marsh Road.
