Michael Bohane - Senior Mens County Final Winner

Congratulation to Michael Bohane on his first Senior County win at Lyre, over Seamus Sexton. Played for a total stake of €11,020. Bohane put down the marker from the very 1st shot, but try as he might Sexton could not reel him in. Seamus was very gracious in his defeat, two fine sportsmen, and it was great to see them in this final. Well done to the Lyre Club, no stone was left unturned in hosting this final. Thanks to all who helped out the farmers who provided thier fields for parking, parking attendants, stewarding, road diversions personnel, markers, sign holder and our referee for the day John O'Leary, without you all these big occasions could not be held.
